About Us
For Kids’ Sake Child Care & Learning Center, Inc opened in 1992 as a YMCA child care center. In March of 2000, after receiving notice that the center would be closing its doors, Patricia Schippnick, a parent of one of the children, initiated its purchase. On Friday, April 29, 2000, the YMCA closed and on Monday, May 1, the doors reopened as For Kids’ Sake.
Many of the staff members stayed with For Kids' Sake through the transition and some are still here with us today. Our flexibility and family-like atmosphere promote high staff and child retention. At FKS, we love what we do and we hope it shows in the happiness of our children, staff and families.

About our Assistant to the Director:

For Ms. Jenn, the best part of working at For Kids' Sake is the connection she has with the children and families.
