Kindergarten Program SummaryWe offer a full day Kindergarten program. The program is licensed by PA Department of Education - Private Academic Division. We are able to boast a small class (no more than 15) and a wonderful teacher, Ms. Beth. Our Kindergarten curriculum is designed to give children the skills they need to succeed in any private, public, or parochial first grade program. The children participate in circle time, math, language arts, science, social studies, health, art, music, and physical education. Learning is achieved through creative, hands-on activities as well as traditional methods. Children participate in whole-group, small-group and individual activities. They spend time both in their classroom and outside on the playground, weather permitting. They also attend a bi-weekly flip-n-fitness class. The design of the classroom and of the curriculum provides for an array of teaching methods that complement all learning styles.. Our Kindergarten teacher, Ms. Beth, has a bachelors degree in early childhood and many years of experience. She is a wonderful educatior and a loving, kind teacher. Click here to our Kindergarten teachers bio. This is a full day learning program, with options for kindergarten only or 'full' care during all times / days the center is open.
Parent Comments on our programParents have commented that they are overjoyed to have their children in a learning environment for a full class day, instead for 2 1/2 hours offered by many district kindergarten programs, with limited before and after care programs. It was also noted that we have two staff members at the center who can be substitute teachers if Ms. Beth needs to out for any reason (training, illness, etc). The substitute is familiar to the children and knows the class routine and also personally knows each child in the room.

Kindergarten Fee Schedule:This fee schedule is guaranteed
until at least
September
2008.
All Fee’s include am and pm snacks and juice.
Please Note: Full Care Kindergarteners, tuition includes care on all days that For Kid's Sake is open; including those days when Kindergarten is closed. Parents of Kindergarten-Only Children are welcome to pay for additional care on the days when Kindergarten is closed. The hourly rate for Drop-In Kindergarten Care is $6.00 per hour. Please register for these days as early as possible, as we need to properly staff for these days. The Center is closed 7 1/2 – 8 days each year: New Years Day, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving & the Friday after Thanksgiving & Christmas. We close at 1pm on Christmas Eve unless Christmas falls on a Tuesday in which we close for all of Christmas Eve. If a holiday falls on a Saturday the holiday is observed on the preceding Friday. If a holiday falls on a Sunday the holiday is observed on the following Monday. Vacation Policy (Full Center Care Only)- You may take up to two weeks per year (September to September) with out
paying if your child is not in care. **Tuition includes bi-weekly Little Sports Gym and bi-weekly music class - hosted by outside professionals.

Additional Information:You are welcome to call and schedule a visit, or just drop by and see the center. If you drop by plan a few extra minutes in case our director is unable to immediately provide a tour. Sandi, the director, is usually in from 9:00am until 5:00pm. Come see the difference!!!
