Types of Care

bulletFull Time Care is defined as any child who attends the center for more than 32 hours per week. A defined schedule of pickup and drop off is required, but parents may use the center during any time the center is open. 
bullet Part Time Care is defined as any child who attends the center for less than 32 hours per week. A defined schedule of pickup and drop off is required. If a parent uses more care than has been defined in their part time schedule the additional time will be charged at the Part Time Care rate.  If care is for less than 4 hours per visit, then the Drop In Care rate is used. 
bullet Drop in Care is defined as care that is provided by the center to children on an AS NEEDED basis on an AS AVAILABLE basis.
bullet Flexible Part Time Care: If you require care each week, but the time of care each week will vary then please speak with the director. If at all possible we will attempt to meet your needs.  

All parents pay for the care they schedule.  Part time parents pay for scheduled hours and any hours use outside their schedule.  We staff based upon your scheduled time. 

We bill for holidays and the infrequent snow closings; we pay our staff for this time off.  Paying our staff for this time is one of the reasons we retain staff.  Most parents are paid for these days.  Ask yourself this question: If I was not paid for business closed days and another employer offered me a job paying for these days would I change jobs?  Most people would.  Do you want your child to have an ever changing care giver? 

If a holiday or snow day falls on your part time day please contact us if you would like to reschedule within the same week.  If we have space and staff available we will let you 'substitute' the day/hours.

Hours of Operation:

Our center is open from 6:30am until 6:00pm Monday to Friday.

Days of Operation (Closed Days):

The Center is closed 7 1/2 to 8 days each year: New Years, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving & the Friday after Thanksgiving & Christmas.  We close at 1pm on Christmas Eve, unless this falls on a Monday - in which case we are closed all of Christmas Eve.  If a holiday falls on a Saturday the holiday is observed on the preceding Friday.  If a holiday falls on a Sunday the holiday is observed on the following Monday.

Vacation Policy:

- You may take up to two unpaid weeks per year (September to September). 

-  The child must be absent from the center for the full week.
- We must be given at least two weeks advance notice.
- Your account must be current.
- We cannot offer this discount to subsidy families, by county regulations.
